Fairtrade Horsham

Great Big Green Week!

Fairtrade Horsham were delighted to support the relaunch of Sussex Green Living’s ‘Green Hub’ on Saturday September 25th. The Green Hub has moved from Friends Meeting House and is now located at the United Reformed Church in Springfield Road.

Just across the road at St John’s Catholic Church, Fairtrade Horsham had a stall explaining why combatting Climate Change is so important for Fairtrade supporters. When asked what they want us in the UK to campaign on, Fairtrade farmers and producers in the developing world say with a loud voice – Climate Change.

Because climate change is having a devastating impact on their lives, and their livelihoods.

Our next Fairtrade event is the ever popular Christmas Market on Saturday November 27th.

Returning after an enforced break last year, this will be an outdoor event. You will find us as part of West Street Market, at the top of West Street – near where the Shelley Fountain used to be.

All the usual Fair Traders will be there, along with some new ones as well.

We look forward to seeing you there! Thank you for your support.
