Fairtrade is the most recognised and trusted sustainability label working to make trade fairer for the people who grow our food.
For more than 30 years Fairtrade has been making an impact on the way trade works. We believe that every farmer and worker should have access to a better way of doing business, and a better way of living.
A product with the FAIRTRADE Mark means farmers, workers and businesses have met internationally agreed Standards which have been independently audited and certified.
Many of the people who grow our food aren’t paid or treated fairly for their work, making it harder for them to access basic human rights, build secure livelihoods and plan for the future.
The climate emergency is already hitting them hard. Even though they did the least to cause it. Crops are failing, extreme weather ruining harvests and plant diseases caused by the changing climate are ever more common.

Fairtrade works alongside farmers and workers to ensure they earn a fairer price, are able to invest in their communities, protect our shared environment and take action to adapt to the climate crisis that threatens their future.

Brew It Fair
Like all of us, the people growing our tea deserve to be able to plan for their futures, and to protect themselves from the impacts of climate change. We are asking the UK government to Brew it Fair, to protect human rights, collaborate for change and honour their international climate finance commitment.
